I have developed a new Agile training: Agile Architecture. Agile Developement and (Enterprise) Architecture seem at odds with each other. Some say the activities of the (Enterprise) Architectect are You AIN’T Gone Need it (YAGNI) or Big Design Up Front. Some go even further, proposing “Who Needs an Architect”.
Enterprise Architecture on the other side also has clear benefits: better, faster and cheaper. The realization of these benefits cost money. An Enterprise Architect knows this a good trade-off so that its stakeholder gets a maximum ROI.
Agile Architecture is the training in insight into the tension between Enterprise Architecture and Agile Development and how this tension may be covered.
